The Cast & Characters Actor: Michael Madsen
Character: Daniel Cross Summary: A field agent for the CIA, Cross quit after several of his fellow agents and friends were killed in a botched mission in Cambodia. Cross decided to become a mercenary, selling his services to the highest bidder. Eight months ago, his old friend and mentor John Fraker hired him to rescue a captured NSA operative named Michael Sleeth. The rescue was successful but the events that followed led Cross back to a life he had tried to leave behind. Working alongside with CTU agent Sean Bridger and John Fraker, Cross successfully stopped a terrorist plot to wipe out all other military powers around the world with America's military power. However, before capturing the terrorist behind the plot, a man named Marcus Roman, John Fraker was killed trying to protect Cross. Cross now bears Fraker's death on his conscience and awaits his chance to settle the score. Actor: Cole Hauser
Character: Sean Bridger Summary: Director Of Field Operations for CTU Washington, Bridger began his career in the marines and spent several years with the FBI before being promoted to CTU. Eight Months Ago, Bridger was asked by an old friend named Michael Sleeth for his assistance on an operation to find out who was behind designing a new state of the art weapon and what purpose it was meant to serve. Along the way, Bridger was forced to break many protocols and laws, which included breaking a man out of federal custody, in order to help Sleeth. They would discover terrorists were plotting to use the new weapon to force the United States into attacking other significant military powers around the world. They were successful in stopping this from happening and today Bridger is escorting the lead terrorist behind the attacks to his execution. Actor: Jason Patric Character: Michael Sleeth Summary: A career NSA operative, Sleeth has been appointed the new acting Director of the NSA in Washington. Eight Months Ago, Sleeth was sent on a mission to uncover a conspiracy involving the construction of a new state of the art weapon that would eventually be used against the United States in a terrorist plot. The conspirators behind the plot killed Sleeth's boss, Robert Moore, allowing for the promotion of Sleeth into his position. A woman named Karen Bowman, who was an innocent victim involved in the plot, would be rescued by Sleeth and they would eventually fall in love. They are currently engaged. Actor: Ron Livingston
Character: Paul Voight Summary: Second in command to Sean Bridger in field ops at CTU Washington, Voight was among the agents credited with stopping the plot of Marcus Roman to launch world war. But now, his fortune has taken a massive turn for the worst. His wife has been kidnapped and he has been forced into choosing to help the kidnappers or face the loss of his wife. Character: Alison Voight Summary: Relatively unaffected by the events of Day One as she was not primarily involved with them, Alison will find her position dramatically changing as she has been kidnapped by the terrorists behind the events of Day One and her husband Paul will be forced into an unthinkable position, protect his wife or do his duty? Character: Eddie Carmody Summary: Head of field ops tech for CTU Washington, Eddie was among the agents responsible for stopping Marcus Roman's plot eight months ago. Today, Eddie has been asked by fellow agent Paul Voight for his help in rescuing his kidnapped wife. With Eddie's help, Paul has picked up a strong lead and has asked Eddie to check it out. Character: Marcus Roman Summary: An obsessed military fanatic, Roman began his career in the US military at a young age. His dedication and ambition led him through the ranks to that of a General. Through the years, his grasp on sanity slowly began to deteriorate and after the end of the Cold War, Roman claimed the United States was backing down when they should have been striving forward, they were now the world's only superpower, and he believed they should take advantage of it. His fellow officers began comparing him to Adolf Hitler, a deranged man whose sole ambition had become world domination. Roman was discharged from the military but several fellow soldiers believed the same way Roman did, and they followed him as he began a new personal quest to change the world the way he saw fit. Among the men who followed him was Jeremy Rosenthal, who would go on to act as his right hand. Roman's plan finally came to fruition when he conspired with Nathan Shield, the head of the SHIELD corporation, America's leading weapons manufacturer, to re-construct an old weapon developed by the Soviet Union during the Cold War. The weapon would prove to be even more powerful than a nuclear bomb with unthinkable destructive capabilities. The Soviet's had built a prototype of the weapon that had eventually ended up on the black market. During the events of Day One, Roman made an attempt to acquire the prototype but was ultimately unsuccessful. SHIELD constructed six of the new super bombs and Roman had them placed in various locations around the United States. He planned to use the bombs as a threat to the US government if they did not comply with his demands, his demands being that the United States annihilate all other military/terrorist threats around the globe using the strength of their military might and then proceed to take those countries over. His plan would be thwarted by a dedicated team of government agents and Roman would ultimately be captured. Today he is scheduled to be executed. Actor: Will Patton
Character: Jeremy Rosenthal Summary: A former soldier, Rosenthal followed in the footsteps of his idol General Marcus Roman and was discharged from the US military. For years, Rosenthal had acted as Roman's right hand man and was instrumental in the plotting of the events of Day One. When the plot was foiled, Rosenthal was able to elude capture and has spent the last eight months waiting for his chance to free his leader. His chance has finally come and he has set plans in motion to free Roman from custody and exact revenge on those responsible for his capture. Actor: Oded Fehr
Character: Hatcher Summary: A well known assassin around the globe, Hatcher has eluded every major police force that has sought him out and he has never failed to complete a contract that has been assigned to him. It is believed he has associates around the globe who aid him in seeking out and eliminating his targets. Hatcher has recently been hired by Jeremy Rosenthal to take out the men responsible for Marcus Roman's capture. Actor: Michael Biehn
Character: Stuart Ramsey Summary: A professional mercenary who was employed eight months ago during the events of Day One by the Secretary Of Defense Martin Anderson, to aid in Marcus Roman's plot. After Secretary Anderson committed suicide when he found out his cover had been blown, Ramsey switched his allegiance to Marcus Roman. He remains under his employ and will aid in the plot that has been orchestrated by Jeremy Rosenthal. Actor: Tom Sizemore
Character: Kris Gorak Summary: A professional hacker, Gorak is also trained in combat tactics from a brief stint with the military. Gorak is one of many contacts used by the assassin Hatcher for information. Gorak is based out of Washington. Actor: Brooke Langton
Character: Karen Bowman Summary: An instrumental part in the bring down of SHIELD, it was Karen who first reported the top secret base in Cuba to the NSA which would eventually give them the tactical advantage needed to stop Roman and his team in the end. Karen was also the one who killed Nathan Shield, a move she was forced to make in her own self defense. During the events of Day One, Karen also fell in love with Michael Sleeth. They would begin dating and are now currently engaged. Actor: Stuart Wilson
Character: President Howard Dryden Summary: The current President Of The United States, Dryden received high praise for leading his nation through the crisis that could have easily destroyed it eight months earlier. Dryden saw to it that the SHIELD corporation was dismantled and shut down and that Marcus Roman received the most severe punishment for his actions against America. Actor: Dean Stockwell
Character: Chief Of Staff Gordon Pearson Summary: The President's right hand man, Pearson helped the President through the Roman crisis and was the man who discovered Secretary Of Defense Martin Anderson was actually working with the terrorists. Had Anderson not committed suicide, Pearson would have been credited with bringing him down. Actor: Kim Coates
Character: Walter Character Summary: Employed as a freelance truck driver, Walter runs drugs, guns or people to where they need to go for the right price. His newest employer is Jeremy Rosenthal. Actor: Michael Keaton
Character: Frank Roenick/Bill Rickman Summary: An operative for the covert Counter-Terrorist unit created by President Dryden called SHADOW, Roenick has proven his worth in the field over the past eight months since the creation of SHADOW. Roenick was recruited by the Director of SHADOW Steven Glover and he subsequently faked his own death. The DEA, who he once worked for, believe he's dead which allows his to operate around the world undetected and untraceable. Actor: Terence Stamp
Character: Steven Glover Summary: A former General in the U.S Army, Glover was President Howard Dryden's commanding officer during Desert Storm. Once Dryden devised his plan to create SHADOW, a covert counter-terrorist unit that could battle terrorism without interference or the knowledge of anyone, he turned to Glover to act as it's commander. Glover seized the opportunity and has spent the last eight months recruiting operatives who can best serve him in the global battle against terrorism. Actor: Ray Park
Character: Robert Miller Summary: A former member of the IRA, Miller joined up with his IRA commander Roland Mcgregor when he defected and they together went in to the Arms supply business. They have built a solid reputation and are now among the most wanted arms dealers in the world. Actor: Gabriel Byrne
Character: Roland McGregor Summary: Considered among the top arms dealers in the world, McGregor chose to defect from the beliefs and ideologies of the IRA and go into business for himself along with his trusted associate and friend Robert Miller. McGregor has recently acquired a highly sought after weapon of mass destruction and has found a buyer in Jeremy Rosenthal. Actor: James Remar
